This is generally useful for product photography, where greater depth of field is preferred. Focus stacking allows you to increase the depth of field for any image by stitching together lots of images taken at different focus points. Other features included in the software are the ability to create focus-stacked images and HDR images. The software will automatically stitch the files that you took for the panorama, and the results are great. In the Manage tab, you simply select the images you'd like to stitch together, hit the right-click on your mouse, scroll over to "Process," and select Panorama. ![]() This is where the new Photomerge and panoramas feature comes in. However, post-production software requires a good and stable feature that allows you to stitch images together. Now, of course, taking the images is one thing. Stitching images together is a great way to overcome low-resolution sensors. Also, sometimes it's good to have the extra resolution if you plan on printing large images. In my experience, there have been plenty of times when a lens is simply not wide enough and multiple images are required to create the final composition. This is especially the case for landscape and architectural photographers. The ability to create panoramas and merge photos together is crucial for many photographers. Obviously, I've gone a little too far with my edits in the image above however, that is simply to illustrate a point on how much of an impact this section can have on your portraits. ACDSee now offers several AI features in its AI Actions tab that are sure to impress and improve workflows. This is likely to be one of the more useful features of the software. The latest software from ACDSee includes several new updates, including AI Actions and AI Face Edit. This is because many of the long, drawn-out processes can be quickly actioned by AI software on a level that's comparable to what a professional can manually achieve. I use several kinds of AI software for my workflow. AI software and features have become a huge part of the photography industry. ![]()
